Facelifts

A facelift is not designed to transform the face but to remove signs of tiredness.

It aims to rearrange the soft tissues around the underlying bone structure while preserving the patient’s specific characteristics. A face lift corrects facial sagging, restores the ovoid shape of the face and redistributes the facial features which have been modified by aging.

A facelift will not alter the patient’s facial appearance. Nevertheless, at the patient’s request, morphological changes can be performed by combining the facelift with other specific techniques. This needs to be discussed beforehand by patient and surgeon.

Traditionally, several types of facelifts are available according to the level of the face to be corrected:

  • Forehead lift
  • Mid-face lift
  • Temporal lift
  • Face and neck lift
  • Neck lift
  • Mini facelift

Other techniques are available according to the anatomical features of each patient:

  • Direct surgical approach
  • Endoscopic surgical approach
  • Volumetric technique:
    • liposculpture (adipose tissue grafts )
    • implants
    • fillers

* The surgical results shown in these photographs cannot be reproduced identically, nor even approximately. Results are dependent on the initial anatomy of each individual patient.
